Clint Sare grew up in Montgomery County. He obtained degrees in law enforcement and criminology from Sam Houston State University. He attended Texas Tech School of Law, graduating in 1993. He has been active in the State Bar of Texas, having served as the chair of the Computer and Technology Section, the Section Coordinating Committee, the Technology Committee of the Access to Justice Commission and as a president of the Texas Association of Appellate Court Attorneys. He is certified in criminal appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
Both before and after law school Mr. Sare was a commissioned Texas peace officer, obtaining a Master Peace Officer certification. Mr. Sare moved to College Station with his wife, Laura, who is a professor in the Evans Library at Texas A & M University.
Clint’s Experience
Mr. Sare started his legal career as a staff attorney at the Seventh Court of Appeals in Amarillo for fourteen years. There he worked on hundreds of appeals involving a broad range of issues. On relocating to Brazos County in 2007, Mr. Sare has continued to focus on appeals and other post-judgment proceedings. He has handled over 200 appeals in both civil and criminal proceedings and has practiced before the Texas Supreme Court, the Court of Criminal Appeals and eleven of the fourteen courts of appeals.
